Newbiggin Photography Group

Located in Newbiggin by the sea, on the North East Coast of Northumberland and has been in existence since 2007. We are under the umbrella of the Newbiggin Arts Forum but are an independent group. Our members who are of a broad range of age and abilities, meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 6.30pm in the evening  @ the Newbiggin Arts Centre.

We have a varied program of meetings, workshops, and projects to cover most photographic interests. Meetings are kept largely informal. The primary aim of the group is that everyone should enjoy photography whatever their level of involvement or expertise. It also aims to provide a platform for members to display their work by staging several exhibitions in the area throughout the year.

Don't think that we just use "posh" DSLR cameras in the photography group, compact cameras with optical zoom and image stabilisation can take great photos, so if a you're a compact user join us!
